As a family member with lots to do, it can be hard to remember to take care of yourself on the days you need it the most.

Taking care of your mental, physical, and emotional help not only improves your quality of life, but also the ones counting on you.

When you are happy and healthy, they are happy and healthy!

Need Ideas?

  • Journal for 30 minutes about whatever occupies your mind

  • Call a loved one to chat for an hour

  • Visit the local animal shelter and volunteer

  • Go somewhere new, whether it's a new shop, eatery, or park

  • Cuddle a pet, grab some blankets, heat up some soup, and put on a favorite film. RELAX!

  • Make a list of 15 things to be grateful for

  • Visit your favorite coffee shop and curl up with a good book

  • Exercise, either outside or at your local gym

  • Bake your favorite dessert and eat it all by yourself

  • Take a cozy nap with soft, quiet music playing in the background

  • Visit your local salon, try a new hairstyle, get a manicure/pedicure
